Starlets & Starburst
Ages 4-8
Igniting a lifelong passion for performance. Our introductory companies provide young dancers with their first taste of the stage in a supportive, fun-filled environment. We focus on foundational technique, team values, and building stage confidence without overwhelming young schedules.
(1–2 days/week studio commitment, light competition schedule)
Vibe
Ages 8-18
Competitive excellence meets flexibility. The Vibe is tailored for dedicated dancers who desire the challenge and thrill of regional competitions and conventions without the intensive 4-day weekly studio requirement. Perfect for dancers balancing school leadership or other extracurricular commitments.
(2 days/week studio commitment, select regional competitions)
Force I & Force II
Ages 7-18
High energy, sharp execution, maximum impact. Our specialized Force crews focus exclusively on hip-hop technique, musicality, and stage presence. Designed for dancers who want to push their boundaries in commercial and contemporary urban styles.
(Dedicated weekly hip-hop rehearsal + regional events)
Edge (Pearl, Amethyst & Onyx)
Ages 8-18
Precision. Discipline. Excellence. Edge is our premier competitive track for the highly committed dancer. Dancers undergo rigorous training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, acro, and contemporary, competing at top-tier regional and national events.

Dancers progress through technical placement tracks (Pearl, Amethyst, and Onyx), ensuring personalized technical growth, goal setting, and artistic development.
(3–4 days/week mandatory training, masterclasses, regional/national competitions, and lock-in).
The SDI Company includes: Starlets, Starburst, Vibe, Edge Companies (Pearl, Amethyst, Onyx, Onyx Elite) and the Force l and Force ll Hip Hop Companies.

Each May company auditions are held, and decisions made within the week.

Company dancers are expected to attend their weekly scheduled classes, master classes, conventions, and competitions.

As hard as the company works, we also hold yearly parties, rehearsals,
and lock-ins as a way to let loose and have fun!Â
